Guard Shaun Livingston has yet to play in any sort of pickup basketball game but Livingston said that day is coming, soon. “I’m feeling real good,” he said. “We’re getting real close to the time. Hopefully by June, I’ll be playing. That’s the plan, right now.” Orange County Register
Of course, the Clippers’ basketball staff will want to see Livingston in action by next month because a major decision involving him is impending. The Clippers must decide to tender Livingston a one-year contract offer of at least $5.8 million by June 30, otherwise he becomes an unrestricted free agent on July 1. Livingston, of course, missed the entire 2007-2008 season, while recovering from a catastrophic injury to his left knee, suffered Feb. 26, 2007. Livingston will conduct his third annual youth basketball camp in his hometown of Peoria, Ill., Aug. 4-9. Orange County Register.

He was undeveloped when he came in and never got comfortable in the mans game.
Should have spent a year at the Duke Plantation.

First thing is have our doctors look at his medical records and sign off that the injury is healed and highly unlikely to come back. The next thing is to work the guy out or to see him work out and make sure he's recovered his athleticism. Then try to sign him to a contract like TMS and others suggested. The last thing is to be patient with him while he regains his skills.

Playing basketball again? Sheesh. He's too young not to try it again. But yo! His knee did **** I never seen happen before. He didn't get shot or hit my a car. He just jumped. Yuck.
He was looking like he was coming into his own. I dunno if anybody can come back to top athletic levels after that. Good luck to him.
