It is a draft BS. Miami is taking Beasley, but if they say that, then they won't get as many offers. Leave everything up in the air, and all sorts of trade scenarios develop. If they get a sweetheart deal, they might trade Beasley after they draft him.

For example, Memphis needs a PF in the worst way. A trade on Conley and the 5th pick for the #2 pick might be something that could interest Miami. They get a top-flight pg prospect and still can add another talent like Gordon, Love, Randolph, or the italian kid at #5.

Wait, what? Kind of like drafting Frye? You are comparing a rumor about the 8th pick and the Knicks (who never kept anything secret) to the yearly rumors we hear about the top 2 picks? LOL. Nothing ever happens. The guys get drafted and everyone lives happily ever after.

Some rumors do' become reality. But if your talking about irrational, totally rediculous rumors, then yeah, most likely not gonna happen. But then again, GKFv2, sometimes it's hard to tell what you think is possible, against everything that you think is 'impossible'. It just appears that way. So what do you think is possible, to help this team go forward, in a two year plan scenario, to go after LeBron (or what ever super star we can acquire)?

You are comparing rumors that were inevitable once they were first reported(Walsh was a lock, Isiah firing after Walsh came was a lock, D'Antoni coming here was a lock about 5 days before he actually signed) to draft rumors that surround the picks every year? Ok man, you know what? The Heat will trade down to get Mayo. That's the plan. Forget Beasley, Mayo will be better than him and Riley tanked because he wanted his hands on Mayo all along. He is a genius.

And I'm not going to explain myself for the 15th time on what the gameplan is for the team. Nobody likes repeating themselves and typing it over and over again gets annoying. If a search feature existed I would have advised you to look through my posts but because it does not so I'll just leave it short and simple: Continue to get under the cap and draft and develop the young players while ridding of cancers, losers, and lazy players like Zach, Crawford, Curry, and the rest.

Who are we going to draft? I'm not a psychic so I wouldn't know but I'd hope Mayo falls and if he doesn't I'd like to trade down and get Westbrook/Augustin and Arthur or something like that.

As for wins next year, way too early to be making predictions but it doesn't matter if we win or lose the next 2 years.
