It worked with Marion. Chandler isn't Marion but it might work.

YES! I thought so from the first that Chandler would be a four & lee would be the five.

Too bad we have Zach & Curry.

Just for sanity for D'Antoni- I think either Curry or Zach need to be moved.

Chandler a 4? I dunno.

i'd like to see if he can handle being the 3 in a real game first. i'm still not buying into those games in april. i'm willing to be convinced, but not yet.

I think he can be a psuedo-4 ala Boris Diaw but I tend to agree with Crzy, I'd like to see if Chandler can play 3 first.

if anything, if DLee is not traded, I think D'Antoni's system allows him to shine as a 4. DLee isn't really big enough to start at the 4 in halfcourt game, but in a more up tempo game he should be good.

this is why I go back and forth between whether or not to take Anthony Randolph over Westbrook/Mayo. I think we need skilled bigs more than anything. Randolph could shine as a 4 in D'Antoni's system. He really does seem to have a lot of Bosh's game in him.

He does, I been saying this for awhile.

When Bosh was at Georgia Tech, many times he brought the ball up the court, Randolph has this same attribute to his game. His long and lanky, can block shots, rebound with ferocity, score around the hoop and has an improving jumper. That sounds like exactly the player D'Antoni would be looking for.

I think all of the teams that pass on Randolph will regret it down the road. He is being compared to Bosh and to be able to get a big with that kind of talent can change the fortune of a franchise.

If Isiah would have played chandler throughout the season some of you would have seen a more seasoned wilson chandler by the end of the season.

Isiah stunted his growth and you have to factor in his progression in the little time isiah gave him , compared to if he was playing all yr long.

When I saw the kid in preseason I saw confidence and he shined, but in order for him to gain confidence against seasoned pros he had to go up against them in a real regular season game on a consistent basis.

Chandler will possibly start in dantoni's system or at least be 6th man.

Isiah destroyed all the confidence he had after summer league and preseason.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Chandler is a strong guy. In his little time he played, nba power fwds were having a hard time boxing him and fighting him for rebs. He muscled guys for inside baskets. Wilson looked really slow....but still managed to keep up with anyone they put in front of him. His defense was better than people gave him credit. He often led the Knicks in shot blocking. He rides him an and gets those blocked shots that way. He's not a help defender like a Gerald Wallace. He's not explosive but he is powerful.

Still its his motor. He doesn't have a starters motor. That's the truth, ruth.

Randolph does play basketball. He also isn't the typical draftnet comparison because they look alike physically.

I think he played 4 in college. He's strong enough. He's a little short, but he's got long arms and some athleticism. I think it would work.

Wayyy too early for you to be convinced. Heck, even Chandler's games from last year can't even be used as a measurement stick thanks to Isiah. By the end of this season, we'll fully know what Chandler is/isn't capable of.

He does look and play very similiar. Only thing is Wilson is stronger. Ime may be quicker.

Draft, and Summer league couldn't come fast enough.
