When I was comming up, rucker was full of guys like that. My friend malloy nesmith AKA the Future, guys like mike Boogie and his brother tip dog were even nastier.... My question is, can he play ball on a high level.. Hell right now, derrick fisher can go out there and drop 50, becuase he could play ball, and he would physically beat brandon jennings into the ground, the kid is a stringbean...

TKF - You know Future? He is a legend. When i was coming up in high school dudes used to salivate over him. Could you stand on the court with him? His handles were crazy. We used to imitate **** we saw him do.

yea, we played together on a few teams, but I met him when we were like 12, he became close friends with some friends of mine. But when I first met him, I was playing for some team called christ church and he was with the Bronx River bucks.... Let me tell you, there was no way you could convince me he was 12 or 13, his game was so advanced. He really wasn't a shooter, but he could get anywhere on the court with his handles, was quick and a lot stronger at the time than we were.. His basketball game was so advanced at that age, and I thought I was pretty damn good... As we got older and used to play in tournaments and at the gym, he was just a beast, guys could not stay in front of him. I remember one year, we played on seperate teams in the Queens, citywide tournament. His team was stacked and I should have listened to him about playing with his team. I just didn't want to come off the bench, and on this other team I started.. Anyway, his team game was usually before ours, In the back court it was him and this kid named troy murray( I knew troy for a long time). Troy played for Jane adams HS and scored like 60 points in one game.. He and malloy(or the future) would fill up the stat sheets by the first half.. I went to the scorers table one game, and the guy keeping the stats would say "I have to have a seperate sheet for these two guys" referring to "future' and Troy... Troy was a nasty player also, not all the fancy moves like future, but he was a scoring machine..

Malloy was fun to play with and against, His handle was sick, he always , always worked on that as a kid.... One of his best friends lives here in georgia now and he is also a good friend of mine, I spoke to the guy yesterday and I asked him about malloy, he said he was going to hook up with him and he would give me a call, it would be nice to see him after so many years and talk about ball, back in the day..

Just think eny, we also had this Rucker legend in our neighborhood named James"pookie" wilson. He was also a beast, the street games we used to have when malloy came out and pookie was there were just fantastic.....
