What about Lil Nate?!?!?!?

He's already here and he might be faster and more athletic than Ford. He for damn sure is more durable. Speaking of which.....if Ford gets hurt which he will, guess who is gonna get the start anyway? Nate!

I think Nate needs his shot at seriously running the Knicks. Stat guys? Check his numbers. Without that we all know he is not afraid of anything. He should be crowned now....nobody else is worth the trouble.

i wouldn't mind seeing Nate running & gunning in MD's system but dunno if he's ready to be a fulltime PG yet... he seems more suited to Barbosa's role if anything, a good backup to have & can provide some scoring punch as a 2.

how about signing Chris Duhon to the MLE? if CHI drafts Rose they won't need him anymore & he's an UFA.

I am not ready to endorse Nate for a responsible position at this point. Also, TJ Ford has a degenerative back problem that will eventually end his career and that could be with his next injury. I like TJ and I think he would be a great fit for the Knicks. I also think that the only way you take the risk on a guy who could be done if he lands the wrong way once is if you get him for nothing. If the Knicks pursue him they need to do it from a position of strength. He is the perfect target because he is what the Knicks need and he should be attainable. Taking Ford and his degenerative back should be seen as a favor to the Raptors. The Knicks should not give up much and should not sacrifice cap space in 2010.

DJ says Malik and #6 for TJ and #17(or what ever there pick is). That's fair because of this freaky back injury.....but again who will fill in whe TJ Ford void? Nate........

TJ Ford is a hard foul away from possibly paralysis. No thanks.

There is no way I trade the #6 for TJ. My limit is a str8 up Curry for TJ swap. You can add a penny or a nickle here or there but my budget is set on that.

I like Duhon, but I don't think he is a good fit for Mike D if we are gonna run.

Other than TJ, I really think the perfect fit for us would be Captain Kirk Heinrich from Chicago. I know Chi probably wouldn' deal with us but he can defend, before last year he was highly thought of running a faster offense and he can shoot.

TJ if has to retire can get his salary off the books.

Speacial Nate has not mental capacity to be the team point "QB" leader.

Also his demunitive size and wing span makes it harder to move the ball around.

We should play to his streghths not his weakness. He could have a good role on this team.
