As it turns out, I was attending the Dowling Graduation yesterday, as my sister was graduating. Sure enough, Allan Houston received an "honorary degree". It was nice to see Allan again. He had a good speech, for the most part, although it was a tad boring. It sort of sounded like a sermon, with his religious references and people in the audience occasionally saying "Amen". But, anyway, Allan is now a "doctor of Humane letters".

In other news: Ultimateknicks is now blocked at work. D'oh.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Like oh my god, that's like so awesome. What was he wearing and did you bring him flowers?

No. I did go up to him and show him to put his arms up for a rebound. He looked enlightened and said "Oh! So that's how you do it!"

Actually, one interesting tidbit is he gave major props to Jeff Van Gundy, said he was the best coach he ever had and that he always preached the important little details, which really made the difference.
