DON'T PANIC!!! Stop with the negative crap! Look for solutions and let's stop blaming each other. We're Knick fans damn it! Forget Rose and Mr. Beasley! They're gone! It's the last isiah disaster we'll ever have to deal with anymore. Move on, think rationally and let's focus on finding some good pieces to go along with our major catch in two years. Who's in and who's out?!.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I'm in.

Hey, I gave Isiah into December of 2006 to prove he could do it. By then to me he clearly couldnt and I wanted him and his players out of here but that's not the point - the point is I'm always willing to give the new regime a CHANCE to PROVE themselves.

Given our long task ahead? Definitely no promises of immediate success? I give the new regime a minimum of 18 months to prove one way or another they are - or are not - the men for the job.

Time to sit back, discuss the moves as they happen, and try not to get bent out of shape one way or another - KNOWING - it's going to take a string of moves to get us back on the right track and not just one home run.

Also of importance: We might see one short lived plan ditched for another long term plan.

It has been said we are going to try to improve now - but not at the expense of future flexibility in the FA market (Summer 2010 has been mentioned). Therefore, we may see a quick shot at trying to "win now" by recycling Marbury/Malik and some throw ins to make that happen.

If that does not work, and you'd hope their patience for that to work would be short lived, you will see that plan ditched - and the rebuild plan hatched for real. Hopefully whatever they do for Plan A - would never interfere with the timeline for Plan B.

Again, sit back, watch what happens, and enough with the "we're doomed no matter what" bullcrap......

I'm in. After the lottery i've now shifted fully into thinking about the possibilities for the future. We've got a good front office now and some light at the end of the tunnel in terms of cap. It's a new day and we can't live in the past anymore.

I would expect solid moves to be made now and that's a good thing. No more JJ signings. NO more wasted picks sent away in trades for very little in return. No more spending only to get worse. I'm pretty hopeful that Waltoni will get it done.

I don't have low self-esteem and don't need other fans to be positive for myself to feel positive. But after years of watching this team make dumb moves(and knowing they were dumb moves at the time) it's difficult to be optimistic even before the moves go bad. I will wait and see but I understand why fans are so pessimistic. 7 years of training!!!
I just hope that people will like me

PANIC!!! Keep spewing the negative crap! Don't look for solutions and keep blaming each other. We're SCREWED damn it! We should have tanked for Rose and Mr. Beasley! Isiah's the DEVIL and still has a job and we haven't seen the last of him. Keep thinking about the past, think irrationally and let's focus on finding out the ways how Walsh and D'Antoni(should have never fired Larry Brown) gonna f things up for the next three years. Who's in and who's out?!.
This what the negative poster sees
"Low Percentage Shots r US, these are our Knicks" "NY KNICKS the cure for basketball fanatic"

The way I look at it:

1. Happy Isiah was removed
2. Happy Walsh was Signed
3. Happy D'Antoni is here, even if he's not the tough defensive minded coach we may have wanted. He's a heck of a lot better than what we probably deserved with such a mess to clean up.
4. Happy we still had our pick.
5. Happy that Isiah at least made some moves to add young players to the roster. Some of the guys may stick with the team and contribute. It's not an empty shelf deal.
6. Happy that a lot of cash can come off the cap with Steph and Malik expiring. Yeah we still have Zach, James and Curry's deals but at least there will be some movement. Maybe a trade can make it more bearable.

Things could be a lot worse even tho it's hard to believe. Isiah came in with a much worse situation IMO. Waltoni should be able to do some things with this team over the next few years.

unlike you i have very low self esteem & i was hoping you would be on board with some optimism, but since you're not i'm not sure how i should feel at the present moment.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
