Alright, now we go to plan B. Keep our money secured into what we have until LeBron and Paul become free agents and then make a major deal in two more seasons.

I'm forgetting about Rose and our lost chance. Let's just make the best pick possible and move on. I have faith in D'Antoni and Walsh. I'm going to focus on LeBron and Paul. Those are the reals deals. This draft is just a part of our rebuilding efforts. I'm keeping the faith.

I guess it's just so perplexing to know that a chicagoan duped us in the end, somehow helping chicago pick up another chicagoan, a top one at that.

This is one of the strangest things to happen in a draft. As a matter of fact, some can say that chicago has done in NY three years in a row now. That's if you throw in the other chicagoan, curry, into the mix.

Please, no more deals with them. No more associations.

I'll never trust this' team again.

Supposing they were planning on drafting Rose and were willing to send us Hinrich in exchange for Curry. Would that change your mind about not doing a deal with them?

Never in their wildest dreams did they think they even had a shot at Rose. So how can they plan to draft him?

And Hinrich for curry? HAAAAAAA!!!

Why wouldn't Chicago take Beasley?

Chicago continues to put themselves in position to succeed and overtime that's how good things start to happen for you. We continue to put ourselves in position to be mediocre. Tougher to succeed under those circumstances.

Chicago did nothing to nobody but themselves. Good for them with the #1 pick.

Think about what they would be if they weren't morons.

C-Tyson Chandler
F-LaMarcus Aldridge
F-Luol Deng (Or maybe Beasley)
G-Ben Gordon
G-Derrick Rose (Or maybe Hinrich if they take Beasley)

Coach - DAntoni

....and even more so: If they didn't blow their cap space on Ben Wallace...maybe instead of Ben Gordon at guard they get an opted-out Arenas?

C-Chandler
F-Aldridge
F-Deng
G-Arenas
G-Rose

Yeah, what could have been for the "great" Chicago that "did it again"

...OOOPS...

So, don't quite put them on such a pedestal.

Chicago has had five top 5 picks in the last seven years and very little to show for it. they also blew a lot of cap room.

Chicago continues to put themselves in position to succeed and overtime that's how good things start to happen for you. We continue to put ourselves in position to be mediocre. Tougher to succeed under those circumstances.

I have to make it clearer on what your saying:

dolan hires chicagoan isiah. chicago isiah screws us for all it's worth and we just got done in again with his very last move. Winning three in a row, at the end of the season. Now you see the result.

By hiring chicago isiah, he put us' where we're at now. In a non developed position. I tried to expose this undermining before, but no one wanted to hear it. Not a big deal, but just goes to show what I was saying, what I have always' been saying about Knick woes.

This is our problem. They sent in an assassin to destroy us. You's can laugh if you want, but look at the entire chain of events. Perplexing, isn't it? Why would he do this to us? Can't keep crying about it anymore thought, right?

Now as for chicago. That's still a relaxed kind of town. They still don't have to go through all of the huge egos, with hoards and hoards of money, to make the simplest things happen there. There are no bright lights and huge media pressure there to have to deal with, like in NY.

And take this serious, because the place where you work and make deals, the environment that the Knicks franchise has to do business in, it makes a huge difference whether you are in chicago, or detroit or even L.A.! New York is a very tough place to do business in and when you need calm, you just ain't gonna get it in New York. It's all tough love and highly competitive here.

So chicago doesn't exactly put themselves into position. They are in an environment that is already relaxed and makes it easier to do business in. In this case, chicago is very lucky to get the top pick. NY is simply unlucky to have had a chicagoan run us into the ground. this chicago isiah is the worst of all or our management teams throughout the franchise history, so that should say something.

Theoretically, the bulls were mediocre (and I thought to myself, finally), until they scored this draft pick, which goes to show their fortunate luck. It can easily be said that San Antonio, L.A. Lakers and Boston Celtics have been just as fortunate. But that's why I say we should not do business with them anymore. They have dogged us for decades now and it's time to push them away.

But you know something else? When New York wins the big ones' it's so much sweeter and we have won more than any other city. Maybe more than any other city in the world and I am proud of that fact. So maybe tough love isn't so bad after all. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I'll never trust this' team again.

The Golden Spot

Whoever they take, alls I know is 'they have the golden spot'.

4949 - Can you say Kent Benson, Joe Barry Carroll, LaRue Martin, Kwame Brown, Michael Olowokandi or Pervis Ellison?

It's impossible to make the best pick and the best trade everytime. It's also possible to be in position to make the right choice and then fail. but all I ask is for my team to put themselves in position. Even bad management gives itself a chance to get lucky if they put themselves in position.

The Knicks haven't done that in years. Finishing with bad records and picking 20 with no money for free-agents is obviously not a recipe for success. Let's hope that this year is the beginning.

crzymd - hear me now and believe me later. It is not a question of who is "better" but a recognition of the fact that in this random experience called life there are WAY too many variables to mmmake a guarantee of anything.

As it relates to college students turning into elite professional athletes, Rose and Beasley would be best served to walk the straight and narrow path and keep their fingers crossed.

What is the straight and narrow path you ask? Do the right thing, eat your vegetables, stay away from skeezers in high heels and pray that no one runs into either of your anterior cruciate ligaments in the course of running full-court drills in Summer League.

I never said they were sure things, but it's more likely they're all-stars than busts. been a while since we had an all-star.

i'll be happy if we get Randolph, but i would have been thrilled to get Rose.
