LATRELL SPREWELL & KURT THOMAS traded to houston for GLEN RICE, EDDIE GRIFFIN & KELVIN KATO Houston would love to have KT play next to & protect YAO & have SPREWELL next to FRANCIS & let MOBLEY come off the bench...don't forget the JVG connection !!! KNICKS get a young defensive center in KATO & a young SF/PF in GRIFFIN !!! The number work on realgm & it fits both teams needs !!!

You first PROD, 2 old starters for 2 young starters. We need a legit center right ?? KATO. KT is now expendable, that leaves us with SWEETS & GRIFFIN who also can play the SF. We have plenty of PF & SF but no centers. now we have one !!!

kurt thomas is a better center than kato. how can you not appreciate thomas you have got to love kt

kato can be had for the mid-level when his contract expires

the rockets gave up 3 first round picks for eddie griffin. i think they want more in return than an expiring contract for a guy that you might not be able to re-sign in sprewell

It's not about being a clone. It's about a misleading thread title. When you say teams are "talking" you imply that you have an article or another source to back you up. You may not be a clone but I've seen that exact same trade offered up more than once on the net, whether you came up with it yourself or not is not really my concern.

I think we can do better... Plus, getting Glen Rice kills the deal for me. Why should we get him again, to keep Dyess company on the bench? Please.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

...and so do I. Jeff Van Gumby is up there with Rat Riley in my book. I could not believe all those idiots cheering his azz on Pat Ewing night (and cheering Jordan too)...

If Glen Rice were included in this deal, Knicks would have him just to have some cap relief. Mr. Rice is in his last yr of a 4yr 36mil deal he originally signed with the Knicks. 9mil would come off the knicks cap.
