There have been a few potential trades suggested... let's keep them all in one place:

Cleveland - needs scoring help for Lebron. They have several big contracts that end in 2010 that could be traded straight up for ZBO: Zydrunas, Wally or Big Ben. Wally for Zach straight up probably makes the most sense for both parties.

Philadelphia - Philly is a much improved young team that lacks post scoring. Coach Mo Cheeks worked with Zach in Portland and the two supposedly had respect for each. Today, Vecsey reported that Cheeks may look to acquire ZBo. Philly is $20 million under the cap this year, so they could trade a second round pick for ZBo, if they can't get a guy like Elton Brand in the FA market. Philly, with their cap room, will probably be a major player this summer. But if they strike out on the more glamorous names, ZBo might be a decent fallback plan for them, since Cheeks likes him. They could absorb him and still have $8 million to sign a FA. I don't know how the cap rules work, but I believe they could trade Reggie Evans $4M a year for the next three years for Zach and then they'd have Zach and $12M in cap room to sign someone else.

I think those are the two best options, others include Denver for Nene or Kmart and possible Sacramento for some of their crummier guys whose contracts run a year shorter than ZBo.

I think we buy a last #1 from someone and package that along w/ ZBO to the Kings for Rahim and Kenny Thomas. We then buy out Kenny Thomas and move Rahim to a contender for an expiring deal and maybe a late #1.

I think the Kings would give that a shot and it saves us a lot of money.

i think zach's rep is really low right now.

milwaukee owner just came out and said why would i trade for a guy like that.

i think it's very difficult to move him, especially if you're trying to save money. gotta find a desperate gm.

I think the supermarket needs a new bagger, and we could always use a five pound sack of potatoes.

I don't know why on earth they would entertain that move, typical Vescey trash.

Josh Smith is a better option and not getting 17 and 18 million nor is Elton Brand coming off an injury. Jamison is a better option as well.

Philly has $20 million in cap room, and plenty of hustle guys like Josh Smith - Iggy, Young, Carney. They have a PG. They have a shotblocking/rebounding center. They need a PF who can score in the post. Cheeks like Zach, supposedly, so I think it's an option.

Zach makes $14M next season, a high number, but it's not an insane number like $22M for Marbury.

I think if Philly gets frozen out on Brand they may come to us. There aren't too many post scoring guys who are available.

Based on that- Philly might not be such a long shot.

Zach does have a bad contract, but he does produce. He didn't work out here because we already had Curry, but I could see him fitting in nicely in Philly.

Cavs have expirings, but they could also pair Lebron with Wade, or bosh or whom ever!

Maybe they want to win now, maybe Lebron is down with clearing contracts to get him a side kick.

I think Dallas could use someone like Zach - but I don't see the salaries they could send back.

Philly is the best option. I actually started a thread on this a few weeks back.

20 mill under the cap? Wow! They still have moveable contracts that the Knicks could take back like reggie evans. So they could still have room to sign whoever they want.

Newsflash, Elton is coming off an achillies injury. Elton has roots in LA so the dude wil probably resign. I can't see a gm signing an undersized power fwd coming off this type of injury for big money. Why would Elton go to Philly?

Why would Washington just give away Jaimison? That is absolutely not happening.

Josh Smith is the wild card. He could just dash for the money. Or he can sign for the same money and be with guys he just went to war with. He makes Philly better if he signs there. Chances are he stays in Atlanta cuz they can give him top dollar and he's a fan favorite. Like I said its a wild card.

Zach makes 14mill but he would come over for like 8 mill if they trade him. It makes sense. He fits perfect with dalembert and with the way Andre Miller plays point. I say its a plan C, but its a damn good plan C for phily.....sheeeeet after they trade for Zach they could sign JR Smith! And get gully and re-sign Iggy after that.

Trade your lottery pick and zach for Brad Miller that is your only hope. He makes 17 million in 2011 you will never be able to get under the cap if you dont get rid of zach for a lesser contract

ZBo for KMart is the only realistic option at this point in my eyes.

the only other contract in the NBA that compares to those guys belongs to Troy Murphy & i don't think Indy wants any part of ZBo & his luggage.

MIL's Michael Redd has been discussed in the past but apparently MIL wants no part of ZBo either.

That is why you have to package Lee or a pick to get rid of him

no way do i package this lottery pick just to unload Zach & we can't keep trading anymore future picks, it's bad enough we still owe 1 to Utah by 2010.

trading D Lee along w/Zach for someone makes no sense unless either we're lucky enough to land Beasely in the draft this year (small chance of happening) or the guy you're trading for is a quality starting PF, otherwise you're looking at Jared Jefferies or Malik Rose as our starting PF... excuse me while i puke.

I would say this was the worst trades that rat bastard Thomas made, the team was bad before but it got totally worse with his addition. We were way better force feeding Curry all year.
