OK so say now we needed a two guard, what would be a better alternative:

(1) Go after JR Smith with the mid-level exception

or

(2) Attempt to purchase pick #32 from Seattle and turn that into Shan Foster, Richard Roby, JR Giddens, *Josh Shipp, etc...

-----------------

* Is Josh Shipp going back to UCLA? I don't see him on any mock drafts.

I guess it depends on what you trade Crawford for.

I would personally go with option 2 and take a line from King and go after someone like Courtney Lee.

Not to mention.. As you have put down Shan Foster would be pretty interesting too. I'll give VDes credit, he has been on Shan Foster for a long time now, he's an interesting player - great shooter. I'd be surprised if he fell to the 2nd round, I can see him moving up the draft boards.

Bill Walker is another interesting guy, although, I think he will jump into the 1st round based on pre-draft camps, he's really athletic and things like that catch eyes from GMs during the pre-draft camps.

I'd do neither of those choices but I'd go after Bill Walker or possibly Sonny Weems.

There are lots of depends. Starting with our draft pick.

I still very much like the idea of Barbosa. He shoots an fantastic % from everywhere. We really need to improve that area of this team. Crawford however will probably look very good in Mike's system. He proven to be coachable when LB was here, so if we keep Crawford I have high expectations for him.

i'd draft the best G in the lottery & play Nate more alongside him... depending on what we get in exchange for Jamal (if we get a shotblocker for him for example), then i'd save the cap & not use the MLE at all... we don't need any more scorers.
