What do you think when you read this quote by Jamal Crawford:

“You definitely admire it from afar,” guard Jamal Crawford said. “I think a lot of guys in the league say, ‘Wow, look at their system, look at how open it is.’ I’ve always thought if I could be in that system, or a system like that, I could really thrive.”

While Curry sits the bench eating chips out of a can he'll watch his boy Crawford Chuck 40FGA/gm while shooting 40%.

Actually Crawford is probably wondering why D'Antoni's teams are so methodical and why they take so long to put up a shot.

Heck that averages out to at least 48 PPG (24 FGs), which would convince many that Jamal is a good player.

i've seen Jamal forced to put up a contested shot on countless occasions after he gets the ball with 2 seconds left on the shotclock cuz no one else on this damn team other than Nate knows how to create their own shot... he's also been guilty of putting up bad shots way early in the shotclock without trying to orchestrate a play... maybe playing in a system that caters to running a lot more fastbreaks he'll be a better basketball player... i think he makes some great alley oop passes off the break & is athletic enough w/a good enough handle to run the point in that type of system... it's when he gets caught in a half court style game that he seems to not know what to do w/the ball & his teammates don't know what to do when he has the ball either... they're all standing there twiddling their thumbs waiting for Jamal to break down his man off the dribble & launch up a shot.

He should know nothing.
Just execute what coach sad.
He has a brain with size of an apple. Bigger that Marbs and Nate but still too smal for the point.

Craw should be a good fit for Mike's system. He can pass, create and run. He's not going to be the next Steve Nash, but he'll probably do better than he has in the past.

I think both Crawford and Nate will have their best seasons - it's more the front court I'm worried about.

he's not a smart basketball player, u'll get no arguments from me there... but he's got some awesome natural talent & his passing skills are very much underrated by posters on this forum IMO... i've seen him make some very good passes off the dribble while on the move that not many others on this team have the talent to do other than Marbs (& maybe Nate on occasion)... & at 6'5" he's more than big enough for the point, are u crazy? if anything he enjoys a size advantage playing the point... he just needs to work on his decision making skills... he's got all the tools & the talent, just needs to be coached for once.
