while they may be lateral moves...both players can possibly yield a greater asset in the future...and both contract's expire before '10 class...

Um, who? Teams aren't trading great players for just an expiring contract. If their trading a really good player, they will want GOOD young players with lots of upside AND/OR high lottery picks, which we will not have in 2010 because Zeke-ass traded it away.

Marbury for JO isn't horrible, JO's much more of a need for this team than Marbs & an extra year of salary doesn't kill our cap... i still don't see Indy making that trade tho... Marbury is a team killer in every sense of the word.

Marbury $19mm per / 1 year
Jefferies $6mm / 3 years

for

JO $19mm per / 1 year
Tinsley $6mm / 3 years

Why? Because we take on an extra year at 19mm per (before luxury tax implications), we get a better player (Tinsley > JJ2). Not saying he's Magic Johnson, but he's a playmaking PG. Whereas, JJ2 is one of the worst players in the league.
