No player will benefit more from the hire of Mike D'Antoni than David Lee, the energetic forward with great hops, motor and an innate ability to finish and clean the glass.
The Knicks have always been a better team with Lee on the floor and now with D'Antoni on board we are sure to see Lee blossom into a force, a leader who will give an identity to the future Knicks.
I am also excited to see Balkman, Crawford, Nate and Chandler translate their games into the frenzied pace of the D'Antoni system.
You can probably say goodbye to Randolph/Curry, James and Marbury and get ready for some really entertaining basketball in NY.

I'm sure Suns fans were complaining about the 20minute practices when the Suns lost in the Western Conference finals 2 years in a row.

I have heard complaints from Suns fans. In fact the one that I heard sealed D'Antoni's fate was that he said, "I am not hear to develop young players." Sounds like a guy to rebuild with?

Because he said that comment in relation to the PHOENIX SUNS who are a veteran team. Yeah he's right, he wasnt there to develop young players, that team was built to win a championship.

If D'Antoni comes in and has real practices, teaches fundamentals including defense, teaches a work ethic, teaches teamwork, and finds a player somewhere who can run his offense and control the lockerroom like Steve Nash he might have a shot at improving some players. Don Nelson improved Anthony Mason when he was in NY but he was far from a successful team coach.

I can't wait to see Lee, Crawford, Nate, Chandler in action in the new system, Balkman as well.
We need an active center in the Marcus Camby/Tyson Chandler mold.
I wonder if we could add another mid to late pick to target Robin Lopez.
We also of course need a PG which should be had with our first pick. Rose or Mayo.
Randolph & Curry can be moved for expiring or shorter contracts.
