Knicks fans appreciate a certain type of player. We appreciate guys who play hard or "the right way." Maybe because the city was blessed enough to witness Lawerence Taylor, maybe not... whatever the reason, we love defense. LOVE IT.

We all realize the game is changing, but don't forget to get team players that fight for rebounds and through picks. Get a team together where if they miss a shot, they run back on defense. We're tired of these guys that would rather bitch to the ref than hustle.

Please, please, PLEASE get Dolan to swallow his pride. Marcus Camby apparently is available and rumor has it there may be an interest in Zach Randolph. Guys like Camby meant so much to the Knicks and his style fits today's NBA well. He's an exceptional team basketball player, but apparently it is more important to adhere to corporate policy. If he's available, give the Nuggets anything they want outside of picks and Lee, and tell Lee if he doesn't learn to defend, he won't be resigned.

Tell Jamal Crawford if he wants do And1 videos professionally, he should void his contract and pursue his dream. Tell Nate Robinson, Quentin Richardson, Eddy Curry, and Zach Randolph they are professionals and should act the part. The New York Knicks represent the city. The fans and the media cannot relate to "professional" children, because the fans and the media are expected to maintain a professional standard. If they're going to act like children, you'll act like a school principal.

Send Balkman, Collins, and Morris (if resigned) to the NBDL. Hey, they've earned the ticket.

And if Dolan doesn't like any of your ideas, tell him you'll resign. He'll cave under the threat because if that happens, he'll be forced to address the media. This seems like his biggest fear.

Sincerely,
Supreme Commander

Why's that funny? It's exactly what needs to get done. We need character team players who are freaking good (Or at least on defense) like Camby. We need guys to change their mindset and we need them to learn. If they can't learn, then there's nothing you can do. Also, I don't think this coaching staff we have is helping ANYBODY. I remember listening to Aguirre on an interview, and he said David Lee needs to improve b/c he doesn't run on the fast break nearly as much. COME ON!!!!!!!!! He certainly needs to improve, but he needs to quicken his lateral movement and strengthen his upper body so he can body up more. If he wants to be a big time role player who can play 25-30 minutes on a good NBA team, he needs to learn how to play great all around D, especially considering he's not a shotblocker.

Jamal just needs good coaching and Nate needs to continue on the path he's on. I have faith that Nate is headed in the right direction. He just needs to commit to the defense a little more. Hire Ewing and give him a shot with Curry. If even Ewing can't help Curry, then void HIS contract, b/c then he's proving he's not an NBA worthy player if he can't improve under the impressive coaching of Patrick Ewing.

Pray to God that Denver is stupid and wants Randolph. I don't see any other team taking him except maybe Miami.

I think this is funny & true.

Camby doesn't fit unless somehow its a money play - granted, he fixes some things with this team, but he is just too old at this stage to be part of a rebuild.

And I don't think Knick fans are any different from fans in any other city - we want a team that wins, and if we don't have that, then a team that tries hard.
