Would anyone trade Nash if you were PHX?

Probably not, since he and Shaq's deals run out the same year.

Or maybe Amare for a great shooting guard who can pass?

Nash for Arenas works perfectly money wise, and maybe for both teams possible needs?

If Barbosa is your PG, can you have Shaq on the floor with him?

I love the idea of Barbosa and Arenas though.

How about Shaq for Craw, Jeff, and Malik?

Dumps some 2010 money for us, helps the defense out.

Probably lottery bound again, but more interesting.

The Suns are due for an overhaul, but I don't know if it includes trading Nash.

Can't believe they just straight up sold the picks that would have been Rondo and Iggy.

Nash is better than Arenas as a pg. The only reason I might consider it is because Arenas is much younger, but Phx is built to win now and Nash gives them there best chance next year.

How can you make that team better? They are already good.

Vince Carter to me sticks out. He's better than Raja and he can ball handle and pass.

I haven't done the math but yo......possible Barbosa and Devin Harris in the backcourt? With RJ still on the team? In Brooklyn?

Just as an interesting point, maybe our resident Raptors expert (Dj) could have more of a say on this...

If D'Antoni does get fired by the Suns and he hooks up with Colangelo in Toronto.. anyway Canada gets their favorite son back in Nash? Maybe something involving TJ Ford, Jamario Moon, someone else????

Bargnani would probably have to be in there too for the Raptors to have a chance.

Either way, I don't think the Raptors would try to get Nash since they have Calderon and moreover, I don't think the Suns will trade Nash.

Would be interesting if it did happen though.

yeah, i don't see the suns trading nash right now. they will have one more go of it next year.

i wouldn't make that deal if i were the Suns... Barbosa's way better than Marcus & Diaw is a very versatile... both are integral parts of their team & both have more years left in them than Vince... Vince & Nash would be a nice backcourt for now but IMO they'd be losing more than they'd be gaining by making that deal in the longrun, & it's not a move that would bring them any closer to a title in the present either.

In all seriousness, Zach and Shaq seem like they would fit decently. You'd just have to make sure you didn't get beat back on D. I'm not sure who else is out there aside from Shaq that will help us clear 2010 money.
