I don't get it, whats the big deal about hiring Person? How is it any different than hiring Jackson?

Pat Riley was an assistant coach before he became a head coach. So were a lot of first timers who were fired.

Realistically the next coach of the Knicks will only be around for 2-3 years.

If Chuck Person becomes coach that would be funny.....how close was this guy to becoming a Knick? We screwed Indiana out of Ewing, and they took Chuck the following year right in front of us!

How good would have the Knicks been with Ewing and Chuck?

Anyway.....nothing is set in stone, so relax.

What you didn't like the Kenny "Sky" Walker pick...Wasn't he number 7 as well??...He was a beast in college...Oh well, life as a Knick fan...

Don't diss Schrempf.

I know what he did on the Pacers but I always liked his game on Seattle.

Interviewing these guys gives them exposure and elevates their status.

Its a compliment even if you don't intend to hire.

This is how new young blood is found.

Relax, I doubt he hires Kenny, Chuch and Jax!

If Chuck wants to play again, thats a different story.
