people are talking about getting mark jax which i would be happy getting. however, there might be other candidates after the playoffs. i am looking at the mavs and phoenix series closely as those coaches are in the hot seat. if those teams do not advance, it is likely that they will be unemployed. i would like avery johnson more than d'antonio only because he will try to instaill toughness ( though the mavs do not look it in the playoffs).

I could be in the minority here but I absolutely 100% do not want Avery Johnson as our next coach. I personally feel he isnt that good of a coach

i can see why people think that he is not a great coach especially what he has done with that team ever since the finals in 2006. however, remember that he is a young coach who makes mistakes but will learn. this team needs motivation and that is one strength that johnson has. i think cheeks is not a good x's and o's coach but he is a good motivator and inspired a team with marginal talent to a playoff berth.
