said Walsh, who added he never told Thomas not to talk to players.

Phew, for a second there I thought Isiah's ability to undermine might have been diminished.

Not to mention exiled and/or executed.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

LOL..

REally, this organization will never learn its lesson. I hate to say it, but I hope Isiah hangs around, causes trouble and ruins another season, and in the interim, makes walsh look bad.. I am sorry, it is nothing against donnie, but I want this organization to see how assinine it is for them to keep this guy around!!!

It's certainly absurd that Isiah wasn't outright fired - especially given Dolan's willingness to pay a number of people about 18M to walk away.

Yet, Isiah isn't fired. Forced to earn at least 1 season's worth of that 3yr-18M remaining.

He isn't president. He isn't GM. He isn't coach. He's a glorified overpaid scout who is also there to explain to Donnie how he screwed everything up (why the latter matters I have no idea as it's not hard to see why everything is messed up here).

In the end I have a very strong feeling that we see or hear little to nothing from or about Isiah (except when journalists are bored and have nothing to write about) and that Isiah will be gone from the organization by next summer.

For then, 2 yrs 12M - could be bought out for 10M and by then Isiah would take that and go away.

Pretty much what I see happening.

Isiah likes Donnie and Dolan, I don't think he would undermine them. Isiah lost his job, that's all I ever wanted.

Actually I like that isiah will be around for one simple reason, I know for a fact if there is only one thing he can convince Walsh to do.............. it will be to not let Marbury be a part of the next coaches locker room and destroy another Head coach and our draft pick.

I'm glad we haven't had to hear from Isiah since this whole thing went down. That's refreshing. I hope we never hear from him again.

Basically this has been the stance for a choice select bunch. I want to see this franchise haughtiness brought to the lowest levels. Just when one thinks this organization cant top ineptitude it manages to create and invent the unimaginable.

My thoughts are DW will try to do what I SAY UGH has tried to the past 4 1/2yrs with exception of salvaging our cap flexibility. DW and Dolan are still trying to accomplish playoffs at all cost for the next 2yrs without screwing up our cap 3yrs from now. Expect to see more added to our CLUSTERSTARPHUCH and the payroll to rise slightly over the next 2yrs. I SAY UGH will try and rebuild his rep in the background by spending next yr repairing strained relationships across the league. He'll probably find out things about teams and keep it secretive until he finds an opportunity to reveal matters to Dolan first. I expect some crazy rumors next yr to come from our Media about other teams but disguised, with erroneous sources driven by I SAY UGH himself. He'll find a loyal lacky of his in the organization to filter info through to the media, while setting Dolan up on the front and back end.

I know why Dolan wants to keep him around but honestly I SAY UGH should have been fired at All-Star break(like I was predicting would happen but proved wrong), turn the keys over to Herb to get more experience as a return interim coach. Find GM of choice in the process having him in place with a better sample evaluation of this TRASH roster.

If we don't get the #1 pick in the draft we're screwed for another 3yrs at a minimum. We'll either suck bad or be extremely mediocre like we have been.
