this is what the raps are doing with bargnani (who has dissapointed this season):
On Bargnani, who shot 39 per cent on the season and 27.6 per cent from three after the all-star break? Only: "It's going to be a big summer for his development."
Colangelo went on to say that the Raptors have mapped out an extensive off-season program for the 22-year-old. It will begin with surgery for a sinus condition and some rest, followed by a strength and conditioning portion, a session at Tim Grgurich's renowned training camp in Las Vegas, work with the Raptors' coaches in advance of the NBA's summer league and finally a session of boot camp with Raptors player development consultant John Lucas in Houston.
even if bargs turns into one of the biggest #1 busts in history...it's not going to be b/c of the front office not exhausting all resources to make him better.
shouldn't the knicks start thinking this way as well? maybe some of the knicks players with "talent" could benefit from some of this type of attention as well?
