the next coach is going to give up and quit like Brown did. The prisoners have ran this asylum for a long time. You want to get rid of one of the few character guys you have and keep the morons. Lets hire the Denver GM whose morons can play and ours cant. Warkenstein loves Zach too. Until Steph, ZBO, Quentin, James are gone and Balkman starts working on his game who cares who we draft. If you have these five clowns on the team trade your draft pick this year until they are gone and then use it. Talent when the first 45 minutes of a game the 3 character we have neither.

You can't start next season with Zach and Steph on the roster. They're poisonous everywhere they go. The rest of the veterans stink but they aren't the same kind of poisons Zach and Steph are.

Doesn't matter what anyone says about the team. As long as dolan is here, we are locked in cap hell with no foundation to grow on.

I'm glad someone finally realized how much balkman's hurt this team.

Why not quit while you're ahead- Marb & Zach - they would be addition by subtraction.

James wasn't even with the team- how did he hurt? Besides taking up a roster spot.

And Balkman?

Kinda hard to get rid of the owner. Dolan is stupid and noone can deny that, but he does spend the money. If Donnie Walsh is what we all are hoping he is then this will be a pretty good deal for us.

That's not the point I was making. The point is 'he has too much power, a big ego and creates fear within the organization'. Not a recipe for success.

When you have guys that dont practice, and when they do and they half ass it, the rest of the team will follow. This team is such a detriment to younger players. When you have Francis, Steph, and others not practicing or working hard young players will follow. I will predict that Balkman wont get anything after the first contract. He competes in games but has he improved anything since his first year?

king 1--this team needs a complete overhaul. If it was me I would concentrate on only two areas--get as many high picks that I can and drop long term payroll as fast as I can. The team is fcked for two more years no matter what---basically this team needs to start over--do what Portland did and purge the roster from a-.

totally disagree. Dolan isnt a BB guy and has admitted as much. Dolan spends his money to make this team better.. a lot of money. Dolan's problem is he is overly loyal to GMs and front office people that turn out to be utterly inept. If Isiah was a good GM I think we would be singing Dolan's praises for having an owner willing to spend a half a billion dollars to turn arouind his team. Sadly that half bill was spent by Isiah on guys like Steve Francis, Jalen Rose, Marbury, Jerome James, Curry, et al

Cosign. Similar to Steinbrenner. Dolan might be an SOB, but you can't deny thay he will spend to improve his teams.

I'm against bashing Zach. This team was **** when he got to NY. He didn't make the team better or worse. He is a victim of this **** hole of a franchise.

Stop thinking so negative King1. I think its obvious the roster needs to be flipped. Coach has already been relieved of his duties. There is no GM in place......things have already changed........season is over........off-season hasn't begun as of yet........

So why didn't he keep checketts ?

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

So most of you here think that if Zach and Marbury are removed this is what a playoff team with the tumbler, No D Lee, the midget and the phantom lottery pick? Look this team has problems at every single position. We do not have true point guard, a consistent outside shooter, a true small forward, and post players are a mess. Yet all we need to do is remove Zach Randolph, Q, Marbury, and James? Damn who knew it was this easy.
