NJ wants to shake it up. How about this?

Crawford (3) and Lee (1) to NJ

Hassel (2), Van Horn (2), Sean Williams (3) and NJ's #1 (#10) coming back.

That would get rid of one of those 2010 contracts. Clears some space on the roster. With a #5 and a #10 we could get Mayo and McGee. (line-up: Collins, Mayo, Chandler, ZBo, McGee - bench: Nate/Balk) You'd be better than last year in D, and outside shooting. I have a feeling Marbs isn't playing for this team again, and Curry I imagine has to be a goner soon.

NJ would be able to bring Craw off the bench as a super 6th man and start Lee to clean up for all of their chuckers.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

No way NJ is giving us S Williams and a #1 pick for two bench players.

You'd be absorbing a ton of dead salary for them.
Craw on a real team would be a much better player I think. We're a long ways away from being that team for Craw.

They'd could run out Harris, Craw, Vince, RJ, with Lee cleaning up the boards. They'd be an exciting team, that's for sure.

They would be the New Jersey Knicks. All offense and no defense. Not exciting at all.

Why get rid of Crawford? IMO he is not the problem and is a very solid scorer. We need to shore up our interior defense and pg play, then I think a guy like Crawford works. Now I agree that if we get Mayo in the draft, it makes sense to trade Crawford while his value is high. Otherwise, I would keep him for at least another season or two.

You keep him if you could find a real sg who does it on both ends. JC is a 6th man on a good team, bottom line. He lacks everything a starter should be.

Whether we luck up and land Mayo or not, I would still shop Jamal while his value is as high as its going to get. We've been losing all these years with him, we can certainly lose without him. I would dump his salary for a shorter contract and a couple of second rounders if possible. Then you can sign Gerald Greene to a summer league contract and see if we can untap any potential.

What the **** does that mean? I don't get it. The dude is a damn good player. He may chuck but he's the only one with real balls on this team. And he busts the ass of your favorite starter.....i understand if you don't like him but the dude is hardly a bum in this league.

having a greenlight to shoot with no reprimand doesn't = having balls.

how many times do you see Craw crashing the boards from the perimeter or giving up his body in the lane to stop penetration or bodying up his man to force the offensive foul call.

Thats not his job.....that sounds like something Curry, Zach, or David Lee should be doing......which they don't......point being.....It's not Craws fault he is the best player on the team, which he is....and he has been showing his balls everynight and getting better I might add.

its not his job? any guard playing with the likes of Curry and to a lesser extent Zach thats out to win would and should look to take on the extra burden cuz Curry is horrible on the boards and protecting the rim and Zach is horrible at protecting the rim.

he has the length and speed, go mix it up some and cover for your teammates defenciencies...

We need to dump any of our players with contracts into 2010/11. And we need to do so as soon as the opportunity presents itself. If the opportunity is there, don't wait another year or two. No one knows what will happen in that time. Jamal could have a serious injury that makes him untradeable for all we know.
