if you have the time do one of Billy King, I really hate he keeps on being mentioned as a possible candidate for the gm position

Well, you can sift through if you choose, I just compiled it all from a site.

Here's Kings time frame in Philly:

06/02/97 76ers Billy King hired as VP of basketball administration
05/19/98 76ers Billy King promoted to GM
04/05/00 76ers Billy King re-signed as GM to a multi-year contract extension
05/26/03 76ers Billy King hired as president (in addition to GM)
12/04/07 76ers Billy King fired as president & GM

Here has what has happened during that time frame:

billy king sixers moves

On the second page, most of the way down, you see where he was promoted to GM so I guess you can take it from there but as president he probably had a say in the first page and a half, no?

Also of note is Pat Croce also had a huge hand in helping to build that sixers team that went to the finals so I have a hard time giving Billy King full congrats on doing that - i don't know if he could have done it without Croce there.

That took some time I'm sure but to dumb it down in his 4 1/2 yrs we don't have one bonafied starter, All-Star, Superstar, or Franchise player. In other words he didn't leave us a nice foundation.

No... every first round pick he gave up definitely hurt because we could have controlled who we picked. We go over this time and time again. The players selected at those spots aren't necessarily the players we would have chosen or even needed at the time of choosing. Take for instance Kirk Snyder pick at 16, maybe if we actually had the pick we select Josh Smith, Kevin Martin, J.Smith, Jameer Nelson instead. Heck maybe we even move up a spot or two on draft day and select the number 15 pick Al Jefferson or Andris Biendrins at 11. We'll never know because we traded the pick well in advance. This is the primary way you have to look at giving up picks, not who was actually selected by other teams at those spots. Although you can use it a means of comparison still.

Rudy Gay has me crying my eyes out. Its unfortunate that he's in such a crappy organization this guy should be styling and profiling in the NBA playoffs right now.

I noticed something very striking about this guys moves/picks:

In all of those years, a decade and the well over a hundred, maybe close to two hundred moves, not once has he brought a true, bonnified superstar to a team. Andre and Webber were the closest he could get to that kind of player.

I find that very striking!

With that, I think I can safely say that we'll have another isiah on our hands, making nothing but peanut moves.

I'll never trust this' team again.
