HoopsHype is reporting that the Bobcats are losing a lot of money, mainly due to their low attendance. This is bad timing since Okafor is looking for at least $12 million per season in the upcoming contract negotiations. This is especially tough since they are already paying Gerald, Richardson, Carrol, and Nazr a combined $33 million per season (with nobody expiring for at least THREE more seasons!). It doesn't stop as the Cats are going to have to make a decision on Ray Felton a year from now as well (and you know he'll demand something around $8 million a la Jameer Nelson, even though he's not worth it).
jordan just added a ton of payroll with jrich and nazr - smart move <ahem>
looks like emeka ain't gonna get his $60 mil from charlotte (a team they should just contract).
