and I'm going to the Bobcats vs 76ers game tonight. Should be interested b/c my friend and I are getting cheap seats and then moving down, b/c that arena is always empty. Are the 76ers still fighting for any playoff position or are they locked up at this point?

I'll let y'all *giggle* whorebags know how the game turns out.

Afan,

use in my country now son and enjoy yourself. Its a great arena and site lines are fine. Keep an eye out for michael, I think he goes to games once in a while!

Charlottes a decent town. New south cities are all similar.

We should have had a NC UK event some time. I'll be in Charlotte this weekend with the kids so no "BowbCats" for me. I had ticket package two years ago and never renewed, and never even went for the knicks.

'Cats are struggling at the gate and are losing much money. They just named the arena in a deal with Time Warner that includes broadcasting. Complex deal but does not bring Cats arena cash. They need to WIN and that will bring fans.

Nalod, thank you. I'm actually considering moving down there. It's a very slim chance, but I am trying to get into school for veterinary science, and if I can't do it here, I very well am gonna have Gaston College as my backup. My friend lives about 20 miles from the campus supposedly, so I'm gonna check the place out. Hopefully if it's too late for me to get in up here, I can get in down there at least.

Cost of living in the south is great and I have really enjoyed living in NC. It suits me just fine. Pace is slower but you can move fast if you want and get a lot done. So many transplants have moved from all over the country its become more diverse and the food has really improved over the last 20 years also!

Bottom line is for me is family and we got them to all move, plus you make friends and it all becomes home over time. If you can earn a good salary you live very well, save money to invest, and can afford to travel a bit.

I subscribe that if you happy you can live anywhere. But some places are better than others!

Good luck with you endevors and you get into the school of your choice and follow a career path that compensates your personal drive, need to help gods creatures and the value they bring to their owners, and the monetary flow to satisfy your values and reach some nice personal goals.

Keep us posted!

Well I am here in NC. Had probably over an hour and a half delay with the plane taking off, but the trip went quickly. I was reading the "Slash" by Slash on the way. We went straight to the Bobcats game. The fans are a different breed than what we got in NY. They were fun fans and the place was more packed than I thought it would be. However, I think they are very general as they merely just root for their team to score a bucket and win the game, as opposed us Knicks fans who appreciate hustle and defense and rebounding and scoring and great passing and smart play. The fans here hardly ever cheered for the hustle and defense and hard work and I found that quite surprising. It was fun though. The Bobcats won. Their defense was just as bad as the Knicks, even though I liked how OK$ played. He's better than what we give him credit for. I hate JRIchs game. Felton SPencer is real good offensively but his defense sucks. Matt Carrol is very good too. Philly's interior D without Dalembert is non existant. Even worse than the Knicks. I lovehow they play together though. Hardly any one on one play. It was quite refreshing.

Nalod, thank you for the good luck wishes. enyspree, I am getting my crackpipe right now. TMS I already have some Bobcats cheerleader pics, so maybe I'll post them soon. If anything else noteworthy comes along I'll definitely keep you posted!
