No big three = no 4th place tie. Just another reason to hate Boston.

The Knick starters play the entire 1st quarter even against celtic backups. I can imagine the agenda driven Isiah will coach this game like game 7 of the finals. He needs one more win at home to move ahead of next-town-Brown. Both are tied for second lowest wins at MSG with 15.

LOL....Actually, Isiah went with the kids for the most part in the second quarter. Hopefully he plays them extended minutes in the second half, but it probably wont help, the Celts second unit is having a heck of a time putting the ball in the basket.

Thank you very much Sam Cassell. I knew your clutch play would be useful to me someday.

You know what hurts us--those three worthless games. They went hard against teams who did not with our starters playing big time minutes. Then Isiah came out and said finally the players are coming through--he was kind of in a last ditch effort to show something and what he did was make us lose valuable position. Maybe we have luck maybe Memphis and LA win and we can tie for 4th or maybe we can jack up into the lottery. What DID not help was Indiana losing tonight because they have nothing to play for except they do have their own lottery position fight now.

Hopefully, the Pistons rest their starters against the Twolves and fold. The T wolves should definitely beat the Bucks at home for the last game of the year. That victory would tie us and the Clips, if we lose to Indy.

I was at the game- free tix and I ate pizza and Ice Cream. Pretty lame experience. Knicks dancers had an excellent season though and at least we didn't win tonight.
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

The Clippers are very good at the tank. Theyve been in the playoffs that last couple but when they hit hard times they know when to hit the skids hard. There is an outside shot at a three way tie for 3rd although it does not seem likely.

I was hoping nobody would make one but there is always that one guy who ruins it.

LA lost and the odds that they beat Houston[who needs this game and is 30-10 at home] is very small on the B-B schedule. Memphis got out on Portland so far--in our best realistic case scenario Memphis wins tonight. If they do lose--a loss by us give us approximately a 11% chance to win the first pick. If we lose it gets cut in half to 5.5%.
