they dont have what it takes to become a champion type team. Their goal is to win 41 games and get into the playoffs so they can raise ticket food and parking prices. It's pure business. I was thinking about the poster who was quite knowledgeable yet called Anthony Randolph too much of an unknown quantity to take at pick 6. Of course this would mean thye would NEVER go off the board and take a consistent NBA performer like Lee into the draft and trade him for a high pick to take a player like this--although for a player like Randolph--a nearly 6-11 PF with athletic guard-like skills who did averaged closed to 20-10 in the SEC at 18 years old. I read that post above with Kurt Thomas and that was dead on. The Knicks are happy with the 12-10 player and would not take a chance trading that player for somoene really with the potential of TWICE the ceiling. If this guys can nearly go 20-10-2 in his freshmen year--what the heck would he average and how high would he go in the draft once he filled out? I just really hate the way this thing is run--they don't have foresight they dont have the cajones to go for it but we will spend 30mm$ on known quantities like Jerome James and send out multiple lottery picks for Eddy Curry and Stephon marbury which has amounted to a pile of sht anyway. They just don't have the mentality to put it together right and it probably does start and end with the owner.
