Plan A was to go for a top pick. No way now.

Plan B is LeBron time. Unless Walsh keeps in as GM, then isiah shouldn't be able to destroy that either. I seriously think we should do whatever it takes (well, almost everything it takes) to make the cap flexible and bring LeBron to the Knicks. What would you' do to make the cap frex?

Me? I'd just let these contracts keep running out and unless I saw someone significant, that would really be worth trading for, then I'd do it, but no more than two, three year contracts and not for a ton of money either.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Tough to bank on just lebron. all the "What ifs" like he resigns, has it in to play in Brooklyn, has an injury, or goes "Marbury" can all happen and then the team is no where.

Lebron can be an option, but what if you clear space and he is not available?

Does anyone really think Lebron would leave his home state?... and if he did, does anyone think they'd forgive him?

I think a much more realistic target is Wade - depending on who we get to draft. I don't know if Anthony & Bosh also signed with the 3-year opt-out clause as well. Either of those guys would be excellent options.

I would have to agree unless LeBron wants to be near his beloved Yankees.

I don't want that bitch Anthony in my team. I like Bosh and Wade.

Lebron on the Knicks is a pipe dream. He probably isn't leaving Cleveland. It's nice to have hopes but I don't think they are realistic. I hope I am wrong.

yes, but the year Lebron is a FA so are Wade, Amare, Chris Paul, Melo, Bosh, etc. having cap space in 2010 would be wise.

Im not sure who we should get but one thing is for sure, we had a HOF player for 14 years an no ring. It's top to bottom, pres, Gm,coach, Franchise player n side kick, along with role players that fit.

It's the wisest thing in the whole world of NBA. Why hasn't the brass figured that out? It truely is' mind boggling!

Okay, it sounds like a lot of people are conditioned to believe we can't have LeBron. Hell' guys like Paul, Wade are probably also pipe dreams. So who then? Who do you guys, who don't believe we'll ever get another superstar in NY again, who do we go after? There is no chance in hell we'll ever have a shot at a #1 pick. I mean never! There's no chance to get under the cap. Never! There's no chance to get a superstar NBA professional basketball player in NY to build around. Never!!!

That's all I ever here is how hard it is.

I mean we have been sold up the river and it's basically all over with. There's no chance in hell that we will ever compete again. What do we do? All hope seems to be lost with some people here and in a lot of Knick boards. I'm starting to really believe what some people have been saying about dooms day. I think we're finished.

Look' at our team and the brass! It's a sad bunch. A bunch of nitwits who can't play if their lives depended on it and who can't make one decision that works. Notta one. A few of us even tried to find someone' who was worthy of praise, like Lee and even that got shot down. There is no more hope. It's over!
I'll never trust this' team again.
