Tell me how you have Marcus Camby Allen Iversen and Kenyon Martin with big wings as well and give up 150 points to the Seattle Supersonics and 107 points on a nightly basis? You have 3 of the best defensive players in the game and they ruin all of that talent by trying to be the 1983 Nuggets. Need a lot of new blood in the coaching ranks in the nBA. Denver should hire Patrick:)

Your right

I remember before the season started watchin a karl interview where he was saying his players were predicting a 60 win season and he was like "woah woah slow down, lets try for 50 first"

Could u hear pat riley doing that? If your players are optimistic with high goals you embrace it and use it for motivation, never lower someones goals, motivate and help them reach their goals. If you don't think something is realistic for someone or a group you are only holding them back bring in someone who believes

It makes no sense to me how that team doesnt play defence, I mean on top of the guys Briggs mentioned they also have a decent defender in Najera and Smith has all the tools to be a good defender. Karl has not maximized the potential of his team at all. Maybe he takes George Gervin's statement of "Better offense always beats good defence" to heart?

As for your comment Elite, i totally agree, but i believe Karl said lets try to get 55 first, and I laughed at that just as I laughed at the players saying 60.

That team should be the best in the league. They have super subs in klieza, and jr smith. Najara is still there right? Nene is back.

Oh yeah they have camby and kmart who are the best you can get as far as finishers, defenders, rebounding an blocked shots. Iverson is an all world player....he can play point and do more passing. He doesn't need to be a chucker right now.....only when they need him to be.

The team is stacked. They need a better coach.

It really is a mystery. Melo is really the only bad defender on the team and they still give up 105 plus per game. Goes to show you being a good defensive team is more then having defensive players. It has alot to do with the coach.

They would hate him in 3 years, but Rick Carlisle would probably turn this team into a 2 time NBA champ.

I just can't see Patrick Ewing as a head coach. Maybe he's smart & just not that articulate. Maybe he's not that smart. I don't know. I just can't see him dissecting x's & o's like Jackson, Riley, JVG, Pop etc.

I like the prospect of Mark Jackson coaching (the Knicks, in this case). Other coaches who I think should be coaching again are Terry Porter, Rick Carlisle. One coach we missed the boat on years ago was Eddie Jordan.

Its that old rumor back in his Hoya days that is stopping you from seeing Patrick Ewing as a viable HC. The rumor that he could not read. I think Pat has already shown that he is very good big man coach. He just needs a chance. I also think he has the Jabbar effect on his chances as HC. Jabbar was very aloof in his playing days, while Pat is not as bad, he was seen as somebody with a chip on his shoulders back in his playing days.

Maybe.....

Check it.....George Karl has always had major talent on his teams. Look at the bucks and seattle. He's always lost or under achieved with the best players and depth.

Karl is a waste.

Denver has chemistry problems.

Talent stack does not equate.

Sounds familiar.

Since March 18th their defense has given up

136pts to Det
115pts to Philly
114pts to New Jersey
112pts to Golden State
132pts to Phx
120pts to Phx
118pts to Sacramento
151pts to Seattle

Zach has to be at the forefront of their wish list.

George Karl is a terrible coach hopefully Denver's management finally gets a clue this summer and fire his sloppy ass. The game has passed him by.
