Posted by UB: There's a lot his father did that he can't do either. I'll never trust this' team again.

Posted by 4949:Posted by UB: That's def. true but I think if we could get him in the second round (for obvious sentimental reasons) he would be a good player for us-he has skills |

Ewing grew up in Boston after he came up from jamacia. Ewing claims NY, but this is proof of where his heart truly is! Played what? 15 years in ny? But still found a way to drop his baby in his hometown of Boston?
I'M JUST PLAYING! Seriously, the kid can play. He wasn't asked to do much more than fill a role. You could see he had more in him. I dunno what type of worker he is, but yo.....he absolutly deserves a shot at making the Knicks. He's gonna go undrafted no doubt, but he should be out there in the camps. The KNICKS should invite Ewings boy to play in their summer league. That's an awesome feel good story to start the summer. If Ewing comes in and actually plays good defense and shows his athletic and offensive abilities? And gets invited to camp? Maybe makes the team? Wow.....tears of joy man. he'll probably be a lot like a luke walton - not a stat guy, but a winner who does all the small things and wants to win.
I'd love to take him because not only because he's patrick's kid, but because I think he will bring a winners mentality and he will know how to to the small, fundamentals correctly- something sorely lacking in some of our players. |

Posted by UB: I'm a fan of the kid. I always thought he had the skills to be a more volume scorer. For some reason Louisville and georgetown didn't see it that way. He's gonna have to make a strong impression during the draft camps. The kid is a beast athletically, and he's just as firey and tough as his father. Good luck to him. He will most likely go undrafted. Unless Isiah picks him at the #4 spot. Because of course, he can bring out the greatness in him.

Do you really see him as anymore than a balkman type energizer, maybe w/ a slightly better jumper? I'm not sure I see what he gives us that renaldo and wilson chandler don't have covered at the SF position...
