I remember hearing Portland did not want to add any more players this year (through draft) so was thinking we could offer a future pick (top 10 protected) and cash for the 13th pick. If Thabeet was available (right now he's projected at 16) or McGee (at 11), I think that would be a good step toward rebuilding. I would really hope to hang on to Lee, so the next two seasons aren't as unbearable to watch. We should also take a look at a few young players on teams that are overstocked, (portland, atlanta and indiana) come to mind. Do you guys think trying to buy this draft pick is worthwhile or better to keep (not offer future pick), I haven't seen that much about Thabeet and McGee, other than Youtube clips.

I think they want to trade the pick for a solid veteran presence, with a winning past. Which other than maybe Malik Rose, we dont have. So you can forget about it.
