Perhaps this belongs in a diff forum , i just said something about Isiah being in the top 50 best players and my wife asked me how they keep the number of ppl constant. If i understand it correctly ppl get inducted every so often so is the amount of ppl in HOF not 50? or is it not constant and keeps getting bigger? or what?

There are far more than 50 players in the basketball HOF. Those who are worthy become eligible I believe 5yrs after retirement

Yes, and the 50 greatest 'players' (or the first 50 so far) are just that. The 50 greatest. I think the more interesting question for me is are' they all' HOF's? More than likely, but I never really asked that question. They would have to be, wouldn't they? Probably a dumb question. Never mind.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Yeah, basically everyone has to be retired for at least five years, including refs. I never think of refs being inducted into a HOF.

How does he have 14 non-gold medals if he's never lost??

15 of those golden medals were from the Soviet National Championship, 11 from European Championships, 3 from World championships and 2 from the Olympics in 76 and 80. I assume that the 14 losses were from some combination of losses in the Soviet National Championship or some other even less important Soviet tournaments. Oh and its a woman, thats probably why only 2 Olympic gold madals , since the website said that the history of womens Olympic basketball was short.

She is from Latvia. Local team was losing Gold to Moscow Army Club often.
She were 6'10" or 6'11" and were living close to me in Riga.
She took same Bus number to go to work as me. She were unable to stay straight because of height and she were ugly like hell.
Probably her salary were like $10 per month. This is really incredible...

Yeah, her story is incredible but from judging Russia's past its not a big deal. I just thought it was insane that she never lost a single game in an international competition, simply unreal
