Is there a minimum amount of years for a MLE?

On one hand, maybe there's an opportunity to give a MLE to a player w/o screwing with our cap 3 years from now.

On the other hand, did we go to 5 years w/ JJ1 & JJ2 for no apparent reason?

You can offer 1-5yrs at MLE salary. Pretty straight forward. Or you can split the MLE up and acquire more than 1 player.

Wow, that really makes the JJ1 & JJ2 contract lengths even uglier than their respective games.
