Dolan said he has complete control over the franchise and Donnie has the freedom to do whatever he wants to get the franchise back to being what it should be.

Donnie Walsh said he will talk with I SAY UGH in the next few days. He respects him as a person and thinks he is a great basketball mind that can help this franchise.

Donnie isn't committed to I SAY UGH all discussion will take place before decisions are made.

His goal is to make the team as competitive as possible but not at the sacrifice of shelling out long term deals that will jeopardize things 2-3yrs down the road.

Donnie says no one will be fooled this will take a lot of work.

We won't be getting involved in too much Free Agency that will impact the team's future. It will be through trades, draft, and internally.

The Franchise has to be flexible enough to reach into the Free Agent market. A goal has to be in place to reach that. The trick will be to put a competitive team on the floor in the meantime.

Listening to Donnie it sounds like he just doesn't want to embarass Isiah by coming here and firing him on day one. I think Isiah will be removed as coach and could stay on in some capacity, but it's going to be a capacity where we never hear from him again.

I really like the fact that Donnie has brought up the fact that the franchise is aiming to have cap room for the Lebron Free Agent year. Music to my ears.

I know Donnie Walsh is not a genius or a championship-maker ... but I am thrilled to have competance back in the knicks organization ... the isiah years have made mediocrity seem like a promise land

Dolan said as little as possible, sticking to talking about only Donnie Walsh.

If I remember correctly, Steve Mills is the Garden president. In other words, he pats Little Jimmy on the back and tells him how awesomely awesome he is.
