Pick 1 He is pulling away from the pack at warp speed. I under rated his enormous potential a few times this year but I bow down to the number 1 pick in this draft by three lengths--MR Derrick Rose

Pick2..---tough tough call. As great a prize Mr beasley is and he sure as heck will be an offensive superstar in the pros----I have to balance the star potential of Beasley with the awesome post presence of Mr Lopez. Sorry Isiah--Channing Frye was a pssy in college and a pssy in the NBA--when you said Duncan lite you were shotting darts with a blindfold---Mr Lopez my friend is the dam closest thing to Duncan anyone as seen since Duncan came out of Wake Forest 11 years ago--winner Lopez l He's not Duncan but he's way to close to pass on at pick 2.

Pick 3. Beasley--who can I compare him to a taller Paul Pierce? Would any Knick fan be disapointed with an offensive superstar---no--we would love him but the name of the game is team ball and to me Mr Beasley does not quite fit the bill for the NY Knicks like Mr Lopez does.

as I can only be optimistic that we will be pick 1 I stop here I dont want to hear about Mike Westbrook I wont utter the name Randolph Mcgee Koufus I dont want to hear Bayless Gordon Collison

I just want to hear the NY Knicks are a top 3 pick because it's a lock winner.

Im sorry if this is my 4,000 post on the subject--Ive put hard work into this effort--as I uttered the words Bynum 1,000 times on deaf ears--I feel confident that I have these 3 pegged right. I may be the only jack that has turned beasley from 1 to 3 but that is what I believe.

I bought Bynum myself, after watching his skillset in the nba for a few games(first year). But, I think tkf has pointed out that you didn't necessarily think he was going to be a stud(pre-draft). You simply thought he was going to be better than Frye, which considering the limited amount of time you could have watched him play in hs, I wouldn't bet my life on.

That being said, I understand that you watch a lot of ball, and you know what you are talking about.

It would take a person with good basketball knowledge approximately one viewing of Andrew Bynum to see he was a high ceiling prospect. I knew about Bynum a year before I mentioned his name here.

I been calling for Derrick Rose as our pick since August, nothings changed in my mind. Rose should be our pick, no matter what.

I agree with that for THIS team specifically. I have wanted Rose for the Knicks as our top pick all year and am more sure of that than ever now. Your are also right on I think with your Lopez call. This team needs a new center and someone with a winners mentality. I love Beasley's talent, but you can't read a report on him that doesnt question his work ethic or character. We have had enough of that here and need a culture change. Derrick Rose would be the perfect start.

1. Derrick Rose
2. Brook Lopez
3. Michael Beasley

I will say that when it comes to Anthony Randolph, his long term potential could in my opinion be right there with Beasley, so while I don't think you take him at 3(not now anyway), you need to at least look at him.

I think we're overrating Lopez. His shot blocking is better than anything we have, but it's not anything near what Duncan used to do. His rebounding and scoring reminds one of what Frye did in college. Getting a top big man in the draft would be wonderful if there was a top big man in the draft.

Last night I heard JVG on Mcheal Kay show and he flat out said Beasley is the number one pick in the draft. His skill set translates better in the NBA than anyone else in the draft. The sight has to be set on Beasley, if you are the KNicks. And then it has to be Rose. Lopez thrd.

JVG has never been agood evaluator of talent if you have listened to his comments. Why do you think the Rockets have Shane Battier and not Rudy Gay?

I would say the sites have to be set on Rose first Lopez second Beasley third.

It's not just JVG opinion, a slew of top flight scouts all have Beasley pegged as the best prospect in this draft and I agree.

Beasley is a better prospect than Durant IMO because of his work in the paint. As a Knick fan, I would be happy to get either Beasley or Rose.

1. Beasley
1A. Rose

.
.
3.Lopez
4.Mayo

If the Knicks miraculously win the first pick, I could see them taking Rose because of the need at pg.

None of these guys are a guarantee but beasley, the NBA game is a beast in itself.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

We have a chance at the top three, if the Knicks keep playing the cards right. I agree with you on this Briggs. Don't apologize, I wanted Bynum also. And I even see Mr. Beasley as a #2 myself, with Rose, Mr. Beasley and Lopez as my top three, if we can get one of them.
I'll never trust this' team again.

If we end up with Lopez, then I still think the Knicks sholud consider picking up his brother at some point up the road. Twin towers. He's a better defender than Brook, but with Brook being the better scorer. I really liked their poise.
