If Isiah is going to stay I rather him be an assistant gm than a coach.

It makes no sense to keep Isiah as a coach. Isiah's coaching is worst than his GM abilities. I rather Isiah be an assistant gm where Walsh can just ignore his suggestions than Isiah coaching some young rookie. If Isiah was made assistant gm Walsh can tell Isiah to go scouting overseas that way Isiah is far away from this team as possible. Walsh can tell Isiah to take his a** to Antarctica because there is some ball player out there.

It is too risky to have this man coach another season. I really don't want to hear next season from Isiah that a rookie in the draft is not going to get playing time because he is a rookie and has to earn it.
The Knicks organization environment can damage a young kid's ambitions. In one season a young rookie can go from a hardworking player to just a guy who plays basketball and does not care. Or a hardworking player to a guy who likes to have fights over two dollars bets, or bouncing out of strip clubs without paying the tap. Or better yet a guy who forces a chick with a beat up wig to jump in the truck.

How about him not staying? His attitude sucks, his coaching blows, his player development is nonexistant, his strategy is a myth, his plays are retarded, his approach is all wrong, he calls timeouts at all the wrong times, he is an abusive boss, he doesn't seem to know what a winning team should play/trade or even look like, his smirk is annoing, his methods are not logical, he told Mutombo to retire . . .only thing that he can get partial credit for is his drafting but i don't think thats enough to have him continue to influence the team any longer.

dolan can keep isiah next to him, in his office, as his side kick. Someone to keep him company and from picking up that next drink, and from snorting that long, white line, that probably stretches from one end of the conference table to the other end. Those things are usually what? About 20-30 feet long? And 40 - 60 feet long, if he does a u-turn at one end.

I can picture them both racing, to see who can get to the end first. Naturally, dolan will have to win each and every contest. isiah should be pretty used to losing by then anyway.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Isiah should just go relax, lay on the beach, have some margaritas, do some lines- take a nice looong break from basketball and is Dolan goes with him that would be like the best scenario any Knick fan can dream for. I'll settle for Dolan staying , i am just so tired if Isiah

I really wish Isiah was gone, however I really don't think Dolan is going to get rid of him. Dolan might just want to keep Isiah around until Isiah's contract expires. Also what he told Mutombo is ridiculous. If he didn't like Mutombo he should have just kept it at that. It was a cheap attempt to get off the pay roll of the Knicks. If that was Mutombo you can only imagine Isiah's conversations with Penny Hardway.

He really needs to go. The Knicks are ready to move on and that is smart. Isiah is an embarassment and he is incompetent. He is not and has not been effective in his job performance. His personal actions have embarassed and cost the team millions of dollars. He has created a mess that will take years to fix. He will not be staying but Dolan does not have the backbone to tell him he has to go.

the only way i wanna see Isiah staying on is as a vendor in the popcorn booth on level 300.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
