lol.

But, anyways.....

Now speculate what this means/is.

He was president/ceo of the pacers.

Isiah is president/gm/coach of the Knicks.

Sooooo If this is true then at the moment?

Walsh-President/CEO
Isiah-GM/Coach

bleh...first, link confirmation would be nice. second, the other shoe must drop for ANY of this to matter and thats FACT.

I'm just as pessimistic as anyone...but why does this necessarily mean Isiah will remain?

yeah, sorry, that was a gut reaction. i hope it's not true. if Isiah is gone and Walsh is here, I will be happy. I wanted Colangelo, but that always seemed like a long shot. I think if Walsh is allowed to bring in his guys the move could work.

Unless Isiah is completely gone it makes no difference, may be we will draft a little better if Walsh is GM but RE2 will still be coaching.

first order of business is to fire Isiah.. the next sign walsh.. If you are not going to fire Isiah, no need to bother with walsh...

Isiah Tomas on his past and... future boss:
"He's had a great career, he's one of the best who's ever done it," Thomas said before the Knicks played New Jersey. "I wish him great success and he's someone that I respect tremendously. He gave me my first coaching job and I truly do like him as a person and he's done a lot for the game."

Hopefully this is the first step towards Isihas removal. Honestly, none of us thought Dolan would would have the heart/brains to finally dismiss Isiahs BS and realize he needed to get a real basketball guy in here to make decisions. Buy hiring Walsh that shows he's paying attention.

If you remeber, Dolan has said that removing Isiah from the front office would almost mean starting over because we would be bringing in a new philosphy etc. Well, he's finally taken that first step. A step we never thought we would see. Now, hopefully, he'll take that next step and get Walsh to do his dirty work for him and get Isiah out of here.

This is Isiah bowing and pleading for another chance......

Yep... And now we will really see what was the deal at Indiana... and if Walsh still think that Isiah is any good.

all i can take away from this is that the atmosphere at msg will be more professional. he's 67 so he's here to start the healing process. he's making less than isiah tho so i'm not sure how this is going to play out.
