We need a lot of help on this team. A center, a guard and a force from the forward position.

I like what I saw with this kid Rose today. 'I did not know' he was a freshmen!' Why didn't anyone mention it?! If this kid is playing like this, as a freshmen, then I'd say he might end up being a #1 if he stayed all four years.

If we take a guard, then Derreck is definately to be considered.

If we take a center, then Lopez is my big choice.

Now if for some reason, we get pushed back to the fifth pick, or further, I think we should seriously consider (this is gonna hurt some brains here) Tyler Hansboro!

This guy is showing a lot of potential as an offensive force and a great hustler. I like his hard work, his quick jumping ability, drive to the basket and the toughness he shows on the floor.

I wish we could have all three. But if we end up with a shot at Beasley, then it's a no brainer.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I'm sure I did, but I didn't really get to see these guys, not until the playoffs started.

That's nuts! They wanted to ban you?! Derreck Rose is my top four!!!!! But as I said, it depends on our position. Come on lottery balls!

We still have Miami, Charlotte, Milwaukee, New Jersey, Memphis and even the Pacers(we play them at the end of the season, they could be out of it by then and not play for real). It's going to be a tough run towards a lottery pick. Really though. I have faith.

Lets hope its to beef up his trade value, which should logically turn into him being traded. I kinda feel bad for the guy, he is not a chump like JJ yet his game isn't much better. He can be a decent bench guy on a good team tho. And i feel bad for him cause we aren't nowhere near good

I even prefer Rose over Beasley for the Knicks, he realy seems so mature and heady for a 19 yo kid!!! And I like his pointguard play!!! Would be nice to have a pure point in a Knicks uniform for once!!!
He really is a guy to build around!!! Beasly is great too of course... but I just prefer Rose...
Oh and knowing the Knicks, we will probably end up picking third (after tanking all upcoming games) and both will be off the board already!!!
DAMN it sucks to be a Knicksfan!!!!

I has been a fan of Hansborough since he put up 50 pts i think as a freshmen, great fundamentals, love his hardworking blue collar style of play but problem is he isn't athletic, not even Elton Brand athletic and he's kinda short. He may be able to overpower ppl at collegiate level but day in day out in the NBA he'll be facing taller, more athletic ppl day in and out.

However if we manage to weasel an extra mid round pick and he's on board, i'd pick up him up without hesitation, i think he will drop for sure.

I think a point guard is better for this team, and a rarer commodity than Beasely. Rose looks like a more athletic version of Deron Williams out there. He's changed his game into a point guards game.. Defends.. AND can make his own shot. I changed my mind the last time I saw him play. What he does is subtle.. but its what this team needs. A true point guard. Beasely will have alot more growing pains.. and won't be able to dominate.

They are completely different players. Sweetney in college was an offensive machine, Thabeet is a defensive stud.

Yeah... I've backed him as my choice for number one overall, even after Beasley's explosion. People get irked by that.

That's a very good point. Especially when you think of the entire team, the entire season. Maybe they gave the vets more minutes, in this useless season to try and make some value, to make a few trades. We'll see. I'm getting kind of excited about all of this talk of big change coming.

Probably shoot myself, if we ended up the same exact situation as this last year.
