I'm dead serious. This is basketball not rocket science. What makes old bastards like Jerry West or anyone else so brilliant?

MSG needs a round table of basketball fanatics in charge of the team. I never understood just having one guy with absolute power over the team. I believe with a group of regular joes who absolutely love the Knicks like family, the team would be sucsessfull forever.

Its never been done before. A knights of the round table discussion 24/7 about the real day to day ins and outs of a pro team. We could argue it out and vote on all aspects. Do our own scouting and film work.

I'm not even joking. I would love to be in on something like this. What experience do we need? What experience did any gm need before they got the job? Exactly, none. Isiah Thomas is a idiot, layden was a idiot. What did these guys do before they became nba execs? Absolutely nothing. Layden was hired off the strength of his pops. A hook up.

Check it.....give like 12 of us 6 figure salaries. Like 200k each. We would be set. Fuck Larry Brown, this is our dream job. We would cry 24 hrs straight if we got this opportunity. Most of us have met and we get along great. We are all smart as hell when it comes to basketball. We could make a difference. We could bring respect back to the Knicks.

Why not? Jerry west? Walsh? Those guys just want one last check to feed their estates.....**** them. Give us the job!

I'm pretty sure Manchester United does something very similar to this.

As crazy as it sounds, I have no doubt we would do a very good job. I'd gladly coach these idiots.

I didn't know that about manchester. They have gotta be the best run organization in the entire world. I gotta read more on that.

I would love to scout and coach. I would love to bring that info to the table and mash it up with you guys. we have a lot of master scouts here. He have a lot of guys here that understand coaching. We have a lot of imagination and we have a lot of common sense here.

Yo 12-15 guys making 200k deciding all Knick roster decisions? That's a no brainer man.....we talking 4mill with salary and other perks we would need. Fuckin easy like sunday morning.

VDesai you actually might be a better candidate for GM (with BRIGGS being a top college scout). I haven't forgotten your track record of judging most of Isiah's deals correctly at their time of completion...
