They lost 96-54 today. They beat out mark of 59 this year.

Riley was probably pissed they won yesterday.

It would be nice if they pick 4--this is the worst intentional tanking of all time. They dont even have a good USBL team on the court.

Its disgusting tanking by that team. I will be pissed for 48 hours if they get the #1 pick.

Any Riley team can always do better than a Knick team, whether its winning or losing, I'm not surprised.

just an exaple of doing it the right way, sticking to the plan. Riley is the man, they won it all what, like 2 years ago now they are gonna get # 1 - nicely done

You gotta love how this is playing out. Those who didn't grasp the ramifications/benefits of tanking 2-3mos ago are now seeing.... pulling their hairs out and gnashing their teeth at what the Heat are doing. I guess in the Heat's case it will suck for them if they don't get the pick but who would we rather be them or us right now?

Yup, he's a proven winner, that's always been a given. Now he shows his dedication to his franchise by not giving a **** about what other execs around the league think about him and his team throwing in the towel blatantly. He'll be the one laughing next season when he's got Wade, Marion, and Beasley in his starting lineup.

There's a right way to win, and a right way to lose. Riley has mastered both. God I wish he was still here in NY making these lazy bums run suicide drills all freakn day long.

If Riley was still here, this whole disaster never would have happened. There would be no staruby, curry, zach. Q, rose, Jeffries or James. Can you imagine that?

Well, at least the Timberwolves won today. Unfortunately, they beat Memphis. Hopefully Memphis can come in and beat us Friday but I highly doubt it.

it's the smart thing to do... we shoulda been following their lead by the Allstar break... it's a joke to see guys like White Chocolate throwing down 3 pt daggers at us all game long & then suddenly throw up an airball in the closing seconds of a game to tie, but no matter how disgusting purposely losing games like that may be, IMO in the long run it serves a much more positive purpose than to eek out meaningless moral victories by winning games that has a detrimental effect on your draft lottery standing... when it becomes obvious your team has no chance in hell of making any playoff run it becomes time to tank if u have the longterm set in your sights if u ask me... i really wish this team had learned that lesson in '01 like a lot of us were calling for... it's not too late to learn it this year... too bad this year's draft class doesn't look to have as many superstar calibre talents the way it did that year tho.

I would not mind the #2 pick.. true justice would be a team like denver winning the lottery.... Hard work and good play still should be rewarded... the west was very competitive...... if denver misses the playoffs, I would not mind them winning the lottery and us comming in second..
