2007 --Portland position 6
2006--Toronto-position 5
2005 Milwaukee--position 6
2004 Toronto ---position 1
2003 Cleveland--position 1
2002 Houston position 5
2001 Washington--position 3
2000 NJ position 7
1999--Chicago--position 3
1998 LA Clippers position 3
1997 San Antonio position 3
1996 Philidelphia--position 2
1995 GS--position 5
1994 Milwaukee-position 2 [funny this year reminds me a bit of 1994 with Big Dog Robinson and Mike Beasley but I think Beasley will be a better pick].

There have been a few teams past 7 move into positions 2-3 but rare.

Unfortunately the biggest drop off is from position 4 to position 5

Position 5 has roughly a 28% chance for a top 3 pick while position 4 has roughly a 42% chance although no team has ever won the lottery from position 4 while 3 teams have done so from position 5.

So I would put the karma on position 4 winning this lottery

you know what would be fitting- is if Denver misses the playoffs and they win the lotto- wonder what stern will say then about taking the best 16 from the league regardless of conference

A couple of things I noticed from that list but is way off topic...

1. LeBron is now a 5 year vet!
2. Toronto is one lucky sombits
3. Who the heck did NJ pick in 2000?
4. MJ is on par with Popcorn man when it comes to building a team.

2. Toronto is one lucky sombits

Toronto didn't win the lotto in 2004. Orlando did. They picked Dwight Howard.

Toronto won in 2006 and picked Bargnani over LaMarcus Aldridge, Brandon Roy and Rudy Gay.

Yup, I don't trust him, nor would I trust Magic or any superstar player for that matter.
