I flipped him slightly back into the later lottery. I think the Knicks might be slightly worse off than can be afforded to take a one way player right now[although I firmly believe Hasheem has very good offensive potential] I've come to like Mcgee--there is no doubt you can play him now and he has a surprising skill set for such a big player. If the NBA becomes a faster game you want your big men to be able to move with the speed. I firmly believe we cannot take a 6-2/6-3 shooting guard--we're way to small defensively to do that. I'd like the player I select to have a high ceiling and there is no Allen Iverson in this draft.

If you want dependable draft info, try draft express. They don't shuffle players draft positions just to create a buzz which nbadraft.net does all the time.

That piece that was written in January--it's all season later in March--his development and production rose considerably since that time. I never go by what others say I go by my own two eyes. If someone cant see the potential with this kid--they are blind.

I keeping Brook lopez being drafted by the knicks.. If they do that, I will start watching the nets..... I don't want this brook lopez at all!!!!

i'd rather have a game-changer on D (thabeet) than a guy with good offensive skills and average everything else (lopez) esp. when he's got a few inches on the guy.

i agree with you about gordon, i see him dropping out of the top 5. i'd like to see mayo beat K-state for starters before we start talking about him that high -- however i think SC will make a run through the tourny and mayo will start rising up draft boards come the second weekend of the tourny.

What don't you like about Lopez, TKF?

He's very finesse and very fundamental, he kinda reminds of *gasp* Duncan in that respect. With as good as his fundamentals are, he also has a very strong low block game, he plays defense, he runs the floor, he blocks shot, I don't know man, this kid is only a sophmore and he looks spectacular. I would love to have him.

I see him as a slightly better version of verajo, and I would not waste a top 10 pick on either of them. His game is Ok, he just doesn't overwhelm me when I see him play. He tends to go up soft, his back to the basket game is weak, he is decent spotting up, I mean there is nothing about him that I can say is flat out good... to me, he seems more like a late lottery pick..

Trust me guys, Brook Lopez is no Channing Frye. I was one of the very FEW people who were vehemently against drafting Channing Frye and I honestly don't see any similarities between the two.
