The only frontcourt player I like is lee, balkman if you count him as a front court player, morris has potential but I believe curry and randolph must be exiled if we are to turn this thing around...

I pray that the Knicks have a high lottery pick next year as the new GM implements his plan to rebuild this franchise.

If Isiah is the one drafting players in June, this franchise is still screwed anyway and it won't matter.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Totally agree. Isiah will be drafting a player with the thought of how they might fit into this current group of odd parts which is a huge mistake. That type of thinking landed us Balkman (the defensive wing player who doesn't need the ball to be effective) instead of Marcus Williams. That was also the reason why he picked Mardy (because he was/is capable of playing with Jamal and Marbury because of his size.)

Hey Enyspree, I cant believe It I'm in the first 70 members, yeah, I normally just read but I decided to post because I feel this draft while it is extremely crucial I feel the top picks that will be available are all scoring, average to subaverage sized guards, and the last time I checked we have a roster of those...I don't believe Zeke has the balls to trade down as he is probably in love with Gordon from his alma mater, but then he has passed the torch to Jamal already...something needs to be done, i feel better options are trading down for thabeet or augustin...but ultimately our weakness is we have too many one-dimensional players...I hope one or possibly two of the guards stay in school...NY can't afford to draft someone who won't produce for 2 or 3 years...and with Jamal and Nate I feel they can work well with each other, but they need to leave the street ball mentality at the Rucker...

Isiah will draft the guy who shouldn't be drafted with a pick as high as the Knicks. It will get people talking. The player will have a good first year and then all of the players that were valued higher than him at the draft will go onto have a much better career. He will surprise many by drafting a player at a position that he just filled with a veteran either by free agency or trade. Most likely the player will have a fatal flaw (i.e. an inability to hit a jump shot, no height, no passion, weight and motivation issues).

i'm not expecting to make the playoffs next year either... i just hope they get their act together by 2010 so we don't have to give up an unprotected lottery pick to finish out the Marbury deal.
