and they have no use for tony parker, we should try and pull off a sign and trade for him.. maybe something like milos harrington and spree for parker and malik rose? then if we can somehow get rid of eisley wed be set, otherwise get rid of wards contract

I think Jkidd is def going to the spurs now that Payton is in LA. But I dont see SA getting rid of Rose.

I'm not sure about that. With Payton in LA and probably the Mailman, LA has just bought an instant championship, so if Kidd wants to watch the finals next year he'll go to SA. ANd there is no way SA, against a healthy Kings,Mavs or Lakers gets to the finals. THe MAvs beat a Kings team minus Webber, SA beat a Mavs team minus Dirk, I still think they were the 3rd best team in th west, lucky to have won the championship.

Sure they had some help but that's the game and regardless, they beat the THREE time defending champions... you say they were lucky? I don't think so.

p.s. those who are ready to hand the title to the Lakers are wrong to do so... Sure they have a heckova chance but, not a sure thing... they'd have an old team... and injuries would certainly be a big if... in addition to which, there's only one ball... Kidd on the Spurs would be scary... again, it's going to be the WILD WILD WEST!!

lakers do look good in paper just like portand did.lets see how shaqz knee do and kobe comin back from surgery.let known injuries do happen.

I have to agree with you there, although they are stacked with talent (and even more so if Malone joins them) it is only on paper. Team chemistry is a huge factor in how far a team will go - Kobe has a big head, Shaqs is even bigger - add in Payton and Malone and the team could explode, but they could also be amazing. I guess we will find out in the fall.
