two questions for you guys on draft day for the knicks.

1) If the Knicks stay at the 3 spot of drafting order, who should they select as their draft pick.?(Derrick Rose, Jerryd Bayless, Brook Lopez or someone else)

2) If the Knicks get the 1st pick in the draft. Do you think they have to get Michael Beasy or OJ Mayo because of the hype of their talents even though they might not need that position type player?

The Knicks need a PG who will help to alleviate a severe lack of team chemistry. I'd go with Rose.

Mayo most likely won't crack the top 5. He'll go from 6-10.

1. Rose... if Mayo decides to stay for his sophomore year (as is being reported of late), then Rose might not be on the board, in which case i say maybe trade down a few spots if u can get another pick & fill some other needs, like shotblocking & interior defense.

2. if we're lucky enough to get the top pick, i guess i'll take the word of many on this board & go w/Beasely.

2. They will take Beasely. OJ Mayo is currently not a top5 prospect in this draft. He has no chance of going #1 or #2 ahead of Beasely or Rose.

There is high probability imho that Mayo goes top 5. He might go as high as 3. I think he trumps both Bayless and Gordon in several ways. I won't be upset if we get Mayo.

But, I can only see this happening if Memphis ends up with the 2nd pick, and passes on Rose because of the young talent they have with Conley and Lowry at the PG position. And of course, Beasley has to be taken first. These odds are very slim, but eccentricities are always expected come draft night.

Why--they could trade Conley or Lowry. I would take Rose over those two.

Why--they could trade Conley or Lowry. I would take Rose over those two.

They certainly could, and most likely will. But they might explore other options such that may involve acquiring a big man since the departure of Gasol. The Grizzlies have no inside presence whatsoever. That alone is their biggest weakness.

our single greatest need is having a franchise talent, and we have needs everywhere- there isn't a single position where we have the 'right player' except for the bench, where we have an abundance of talent.

BPA- whoever might be an NBA All Star or starter.

Although we start five players, we don't have one NBA caliber starter- except maybe Lee & Chandler- but we don't know.
