There's scam artists all over the place, not only Jiffy Lube. It's a damn shame though. I recommend getting a mechanic that is local and that you know and trust and not go to these big chain stores.

freakin' crooks! thanks for the tip... good thing i never use Jiffi Lube & go to the same ETD that does all my oil changes & let's me watch while they do it (before i moved out here that is)

Wow, and I used to go to jiffy lube and had a couple of small repairs there. That is some crazy shyat.
