I am sorry... but Pat Riley is making Zeke look too good this season!
Even with D-WADE hampered by injury and an aging Shaq (became Marion)... they still have more talent than the Knicks...
How does Miami win only 11 games this season??? If they played in New York they would be getting killed on our board.

How is it that a hall of fame coach, who weighs his players body-fat index before he gives them run, who coaches teams that emphasize hard D and practice hard.... how do these guys only win 11 games???

With the season Miami has had, as a fan its all good cuz Beasley is coming. Yummy for miami fans tummy.

Last time Riley was this bad they got Wade. This time he is destined to get something very good to put along side Wade. Riley is tanking the season away and for the good of his organization. Zeke being an idiot is still trying to win some games. NBA is and always will be about a good tank job.

Riley has given up on this year and is focusing on the draft. He has said that he may miss a game on the bench so that he can scout potential draft picks. He wants to sit Wade for the remainder of the season. The Heat will add a lottery talent and be back in the playoffs next year.

Pat Riley is one of the greatest minds in the game. He knows what he's doing. They'll be back to the top in no time while we will still be bottom-feeding and severely overrating guys like Wilson Chandler with Isiah Thomas still running the show next year.

Exactly! Riley is doing it right.

isiad-iot does it wrong. Never one way or the other. Always ends up in the middle. What a fool.

Why does Riley a pass for how outragiously bad his team played for the first half of the season???
(Even before he decided to tank for a pick... you must admit that he was trying to win through January)
His squad has quite a lot of talent even w/o a healthy D-Wade.

Miami has no talent besides Wade and Marion. But, that's OK because they're both super talents.

Exactly. Riley did what he did for a campionship, The fact that Shaq basically imploded was the price for the Championship run. I'll take a Championship run thank you.

no one mentioned that Riley has been one of those coaches that burn players out with their max effort 24/7 messages. After a while, the message starts to not hit home.

In addition to the injuries, Shaq turning 80 & some dubious trades, I think part of it is his message isn't hitting home.

Im sure Riles has gotten beaten up on UltimateHeat.com pretty good in his own right but:

He got Miami a championship, has Three nice pieces to build with in Haslam, Wade and Marion, the Pick, no sextual harassemnt public trials, he gives a damm about the white season ticketholders, no beligerant max players, pending cap space (some, not a ton)and some decent cred.

Isiah as GM got none.

I can't believe the NBA is practically allowing the Heat to tank. There is no way that Riley should be able to leave so he can scout college players since he IS the head coach of that team.
