they are tanking and it is too obvious
wade can't hit a game winner he turns it over all the time in the clutch
he's making himself look bad
why not just sit out and say your injured

Because Marion is overrated as F as I clearly tried to tell everyone over the summer. If Shaq isn't/wasn't the answer they should have looked to trade him for a younger player with upside.

I don't think anyone's saying he's a superstar, but he's a five category player with a good attitude. What weaknesses are there to his game? How many PFs in the east would you take ahead of him? I'd say only KG and Bosh and maybe Okafor. (I'm counting D Howard as a center.) In a year, I might say Horford too but not yet.

Then why is Marion averaging over 10 rpg and Wade around 25/7? You'd think Wade would be shooting air balls and Marion letting opponents get those rebounds if they were tanking.

The same reason Zach can get 17 and 10 a game, Craw can get 20 and the Knicks still have 18 wins.

Zach and Craw have nothing in common with Marion and Wade.

LOL! when Marion first joined the Heat people were riding his jock for the steal they got in the trade... can't wait til the Heat start winning again & you all start hailing Marion as 1 of the top players in the game once again.

the guy is & has always been 1 of the top SF's in the game... he's not overrated as a F, he is what he is, a very good player... the Heat are simply not winning games, sometimes it's as simple as that... just having talent doesn't mean you win in this league... they're clearly missing a low post scoring option & defensive shotblocker to patrol the paint, which Shaq used to provide but hadn't since he'd been slowed by injury.

Well before he was traded the idea of trading him was Taboo or "Sky Is Falling" if it's done. I even saw some posts rationalizing trading Amare before Marion because supposedly Amare had/has a bad attitude. Look the guy hasn't performed that well in the playoffs, with PHX it no longer was a matter of regular season 5 category play. It was all about the post-season and whether Shaq was the right move remains to be seen but Marion is making near $20mil in salary and wanted to be extended from those numbers. I mean good grief he asked Kerr for a 3yr/$60mil extension and plenty thought this was a reasonable request. His 5 category play should equate to an improvement in the win column with the Heat this yr. The Heat aren't trying to lose their games because there have been words in the press from Riley, Wade, and Marion himself about the team. Marion>Shaq right?

IDK. I think you have to be a pretty good player to average 17 & 11 in the playoffs and be considered to be "underachieving"! Is he overpaid? Yes, definitely. The Suns haven't been doing well without him, though. My prediction is that once the Heat get to start anew, with a 0-0 record, they'll play better. They have nothing to play FOR right now. Just a prediction.

i thought u said Marion was overrated & used that as the excuse for the Heat not winning games? so which is it?
