For those of you who don't know, maciej lampe has been cleared by real madrid to play in the knicks summerleague next week. With him down we have only vranes to go. heres the link.

In another development, Marc Cornstein, the agent for 7-6 Serbian center Slavko Vranes, said he's in the "final stages" of contract-buyout negotiations with his client's European team. Vranes, selected in the second round, could be on hand by today.

With the addition of Sweetney, Lampe and Vranes, Plus the 7 footers in the summer league, we are going from the shortest team in the NBA to one of the taller teams in the NBA.

If Layden can move the albatross contracts (Anderson, Eisley, Spoon) by packaging it with Spree, KT, Ward and/or Knight we would be in business.

I only want Spree or KT moved for a tall and talented SF (Tim Thomas, Qyntel Woods, Wally Szczerbiak, Lamar Odom).

Make that... going from one of the shortest teams in the NBA to one of the tallest teams in the summer league.

Agreed. Accept for the Wally factor. Don't know why, but I just don't like him or his contract.
