I just wonder (and hope and pray) that how the rebuilding process would begin. I would guess players with value would be traded for future draft picks and young players, but it being the Knicks I dont know if this would happen. But who has trade value?

Quentin Richardson could prob fetch a first rounder. Maybe Malik Rose. I think Jamal Crawford has some value.

Eddy Curry does not. Jared Jeffries does not. They stay on the team. As does Big Eat James. STephon and Zach Randolph, well we would be LUCKY to unload them for anything. Stephon would be easier, and hopefully a team like Denver takes Zach and just gives us ending contracts and MAYBE if we're lucky a late 1st rounder.

So Quentin , Jamal, Malik and possibly Zach. Not much there to fetch draft picks and young players. Anyone see this differently?

1 - D Lee
2 - Jamal
3 - Nate
4 - Balk
5 - Malik (expiring)
6 - Chandler

i don't see Marbury's expiring as having much trade value only because trading him would entail us taking back a huge longterm contract which we probably wouldn't want on our books... very little options to trade for Zach & Curry also.
